It a simple an OPENSOURCE where you can select which gateways are enabled for each currency.
Only in CART for new customers (not invoice for registered customers), valid for all templates, as it works as a hook end point.
Example, if an user select currency USD it will show Paypal Gateway, other Payment Gateway goes hidden , if user select GBP,CAD it will show Stripe and Paypal goes hidden
all simple configurable in file.
